We have heard several complain that people get a Dust Bag from Chanel that’s smaller than the bag. It’s weird and not normal, your Dust Bag cannot be smaller than your Bag, if so how can it possible protect it against dust? There was one girl who received a dust bag that has the exact same size as her Classic Flap Bag. Therefore, when she put the bag inside the Dust Bag and the top part cannot be closed. So the Dust Bag must be bigger than the bag. It does happen that you get the wrong size, but not often.

What can you do with a Dust Bag? And why is it important? Well, first of all, if you want to sell a bag in the future, it’s better to have the original Dust Bag too. Because the buyer might want it, even tough some people experienced that the Chanel Dust Bag is not always the best. Actually the Louis Vuitton Dust Bag feels better at this moment. The standard drawstring is a braided nylon cord. “Mouse-tail” cord is also available which has a smooth round section and a silky touch.  Both are available in a wide range of colours to match either fabric colour or logo colour. Waxed cord is thicker, stiffer, for a more casual look.  Typically available in natural white, black, brown. Your dust bags can be made also with ribbon drawstrings. Gros grain ribbon is a very popular ribbon which has a typical vertical bar pattern.  Smooth ribbons can be used too and can be custom printed with your logo with a minimum of 1,000 meters. All our dust bags are custom made to order. We can manufacture them in any size. The size table to the right is just a useful guide. We do not have preset sizes. If your products size range is small, we recommend to use a “one-size-fits-all” approach, that way you can keep things simpler and limit costs. Whereas if your products range dramatically in size you will have to make your dustbags in more than one size. We see however that in most cases a brand can get away with 3 sizes.

Your logo will be typically printed on one side of the dust bag / sleeperbag by silk screen printing. In most cases the logo is printed in a single solid colour but 2, 3, 4 colours are also possible.
